We’ll go over shapes, settings and stones, then I’ll put together a personalised estimate for your piece. From there, I source your diamond or gemstone, refine every detail with you, and your piece is handcrafted to order.

Yes. You’ll work one-on-one with me from your first message to the finished piece, and we can talk by email, phone or WhatsApp, whichever suits you best.

Getting started is simple. Share your ideas, inspiration, budget and timing through my custom request form, and I’ll come back to you with a personalised estimate for your piece. From there, you can choose how you’d like to begin:

• Start with a CAD design. For a small design fee, I’ll create a CAD of your piece so you can see it before committing. If you go ahead, the fee is fully credited towards your piece. A CAD (computer-aided design) is a detailed digital model of your piece, shown from different angles with exact measurements, so you can see every detail before it’s made.
• Go straight ahead. Pay your deposit and we’ll move into design and then production.

Yes. Custom pieces require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin. As a small business, this deposit goes directly towards sourcing the materials for your piece, including your diamond or gemstone and the metal, so I can start bringing your design to life. Because these materials are chosen and purchased just for you, the deposit can’t be refunded. The balance is due before your piece is shipped.

Every piece is made to order, handcrafted and hand-finished just for you. Most custom pieces take between 3 and 9 weeks, depending on the intricacy of the design. If you have a date in mind, such as a proposal, anniversary or birthday, let me know in your request and I’ll be upfront about what’s possible.

Yes. You can start with a CAD design for a small design fee before committing, or pay your deposit and go straight into design. Either way, I’ll create detailed renders and CAD drawings of your piece, including measurements, so you can see it taking shape before it’s made.

Yes. Most designs can be tailored to your stone, metal and size, and depending on the piece I may be able to make it in a different metal colour, for example yellow gold instead of white gold. Just get in touch with the piece you have in mind.

Yes. Alongside engagement rings, I design wedding bands, earrings, pendants and statement pieces. If you’d like a band designed to sit with your ring, mention it in your request.

I focus on creating brand-new pieces from the very beginning, so I don’t set clients’ own stones or remodel existing jewellery. That way I can source every diamond and gemstone myself and stand behind the quality of your finished piece.

Both. I work with natural and lab-grown diamonds, as well as gemstones, and I’m happy to show you options side by side so you can choose what feels right. My lab-grown diamond guide explains how they compare.

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds have the same physical, chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds. The difference is their origin: one formed in the earth, the other was grown in a controlled environment. They are not simulants such as cubic zirconia or moissanite.

Every loose diamond on my Diamonds page is listed with its grading report details. For custom pieces, some smaller or speciality stones may come with an independent valuation instead of a grading report, and every stone is still quality checked by me before it’s set.

Yes. You can search loose diamonds and gemstones on my Diamonds page. Each stone is sourced especially for you: I confirm it’s still available with my wholesaler, it’s quality checked at their office in New York, and I check it again when it arrives in Melbourne.

Yes. As well as white diamonds, I work with coloured gemstones and coloured diamonds, such as pink. Tell me what you love in your request and I’ll talk you through the options.

A written independent valuation is included with selected pieces. You’ll see ‘Independent Valuation – Included’ on those listings. Not every piece comes with one. As a member of the Jewellers Association of Australia (JAA), I want you to feel completely confident in what you’re buying. Read more about valuations.

Custom pieces can be made in solid gold, platinum or sterling silver. I work with solid gold in 9ct, 10ct, 14ct and 18ct, and sterling silver is 925, meaning at least 92.5% pure silver.

Some ready-made pieces are 18ct gold vermeil (a thick layer of 18ct gold over sterling silver). Each product page lists the exact metal used. Read more about my metals.

All of these are solid gold, not plated. The carat tells you how much pure gold is in the alloy, and I can make your piece in any of these:

• 9ct: 37.5% gold
• 10ct: 41.7% gold
• 14ct: 58.5% gold
• 18ct: 75% gold

Higher carats have a richer colour and more gold, so they cost more and are slightly softer. Lower carats are harder-wearing and more affordable, with a slightly paler colour. Yellow and white gold are available in all four, and rose gold in 10ct, 14ct and 18ct.

Yes, lay-by is available, and I’m happy to work with you on payment terms that suit you. A non-refundable deposit secures your piece, and we can spread the rest out in a way that’s comfortable for you. Just get in touch and we’ll talk through the options.

I’m based in Melbourne, Australia, and Studio Bijouxx is online only, so consultations happen by email, phone or WhatsApp. That’s a very intentional choice. After more than ten years in jewellery retail, I wanted to create beautiful, meaningful jewellery that feels within reach for more people. Without the overheads of a shopfront, I can put that value back into your piece, in better stones, finer craftsmanship and fairer pricing. I know it’s not for everyone, but for many of my clients, it’s the reason they choose me. And if you’d like a closer look at any piece before you order, I’m always happy to send you extra photos or videos.

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of your order confirmation email, excluding made-to-order pieces, which follow their own timeline. Tracking details are sent once your order ships.

Australian orders are sent by Secure Express with signature on delivery, and usually arrive within 1–5 business days. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

International orders are sent with DHL, tracked and insured, and usually arrive within 5–14 business days depending on location. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

Please note that any local import charges and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Yes. Domestic and international orders are insured in transit.

Yes. Because of the value of my pieces, parcels require a signature on delivery. If no one is available to sign, your parcel will be held at the nearest post office or holding facility for you to collect with photo ID.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number. Please allow 48 to 72 hours for tracking to become available. If your order hasn’t arrived within 14 business days of your shipping confirmation, email me at hello@studiobijouxx.com with your name and order number.

Every piece arrives in a Studio Bijouxx ribbon box, inside a secure, fitted postal box, with a thank-you card and any certificates for your piece. See my packaging.

Because custom pieces are made especially for you, bespoke, custom, altered and resized pieces can’t be returned for a change of mind. This doesn’t affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if a piece is faulty.

If a ready-made or in-stock piece isn’t right for you, please contact me within 7 days of receiving it. Pieces must be unworn, in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase. Please email hello@studiobijouxx.com before sending anything back, and I’ll send you the return address and instructions. Return shipping is at your own cost.

A 12% restocking fee may apply to change-of-mind returns. Sale items, estate pieces, earrings (for hygiene reasons) and gift cards can’t be returned. My Refund Policy has the full details.

Loose diamonds and gemstones have their own policy. Please read the Loose Diamond Shipping & Returns Policy, and if being able to return a stone is important to you, email me before you order.

Yes, I can size almost any of my pieces. Add your size in the notes when you order and allow up to two extra weeks for delivery if sizing is needed. A small resizing fee may apply; contact me for a quote. Please note that resized pieces can’t be returned. Full eternity bands are difficult to resize, so it’s worth confirming your size before you order, and my ring sizing kit can help.

My ring sizing kit is available to purchase, or if you’re designing a CAD or custom piece with me, I can send one out with your custom request, so you can measure your finger comfortably at home. If it’s a surprise, try borrowing a ring they already wear on that finger and send me its inside measurement, or ask a close friend or family member who might know. And if you’re still unsure, don’t worry. I’ll help you choose the safest size, and most designs can be resized after the big moment.

All my pieces come with a 12-month manufacturing warranty, which covers any faults in workmanship. It doesn’t cover everyday wear, accidental damage or loss. This is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Fine jewellery is made to last, but like anything precious, it needs a little care along the way. I recommend having your piece checked from time to time, especially the claws and settings. You’re always welcome to send your piece back to me for inspection and cleaning for a small fee, and I’m here for any repairs on Studio Bijouxx and custom pieces in the years ahead. Once you’re part of the Studio Bijouxx family, I’ll look after you.

Many clients choose to insure their jewellery, and a written valuation is typically used for this. If your piece doesn’t come with one, I can arrange a valuation for you. Just ask.

Every piece is photographed before it’s sent, but accidents can happen. Please check your order when it arrives and contact me straight away if anything is damaged or not what you ordered, so I can make it right.

Each piece is crafted by hand and made to last with a little care:

• Last on, first off. Put your jewellery on after getting dressed and take it off first, as delicate pieces can catch on clothing or bag straps.
• Take it off before sleeping, swimming, bathing or exercising.
• Avoid perfumes, creams and make-up, which can dull metals and build up in settings.
• Store pieces separately in their original box, somewhere cool and dry.
• Clean gently and regularly, and check settings for wear.
